Hidden Valley Golf Course is a public, 18-Hole course in Shelbyville, Michigan conveniently located within two miles of the Gun Lake Casino. While in the Gun Lake area, you and your friends can spend an enjoyable day of golf along with an exciting evening of fun.
Want to play a Par-3 that is affectionately referred to as the "Shortest Par-5 in Michigan"? Then you need to play # 18 at Hidden Valley. After this crescendo of a hole, you'll be thankful the seventeen holes before it only presented a "normal" challenge.
Hidden Valley Golf Course is a 5,980-yard, Par-70 course that features "Bent" grass greens. Speaking of which, what the course might lack in length, it more than makes up for with challenging greens. Your putter will be one of the most important clubs in your bag to score well at the course.
Tom Lowing, who co-owns and manages the course with his lovely wife Shirley, states that the course has a "unique combination of holes." He estimates that 60% of the holes are wide open with the remainder being "a bit on the tight side." Sand Traps and water holes help maintain one's focus during play. Whether you are a scratch golfer or novice, Hidden Valley has much to offer.
The entire course is watered and is always in great shape thanks to a very efficient grounds crew, making the course a fun destination for adventurous golfers and local golf leagues alike.
With the Lowing family at the helm, you can be assured of smooth sailing with confidence running high that regardless of the three tees you choose to play (White, Gold, or Red), you will have a thoroughly enjoyable experience!
After your round, relax in the restaurant portion of the club house. Enjoy Shirley's famous redskin potato salad and baked beans along with grilled steaks, burgers, brats and more while you discuss your round.
